Description
Lets pretend this was only because I wanted to test the jewelery wire, and not because I am a hideous kingdom hearts fangirl. ...Yeah, that one.
Oh fine, I wanted my own Keyblade. But it was a good project; I haven't worked with long thin bits like this in quite a while; and I wanted to test the wire I got for the sake of possibly making charms and such in the future. It seems strong and durable once baked, and working with it wasn't as hard as I'd imagined. I just wish I could have make this slightly smaller, so I could wear it as a necklace or something. It strikes me as a little large right now. ...I blame the wooden skewer I used for structure for setting my scale for me.
I went for full detail, including the keychain(which clips on and off, so I can make it change into other forms later while no one's watching). It also is fully functional at slaying miniature Heartless, as my plushie Squiggs(full name Mr. Squiggles) demonstrates at the bottom there.
The background.. I have no clue, as usual. Lets focus on the awesome Keyblade, hmm?
As usual, I love commentary!
Keyblade made with sculpey clay. Chain connected to clay using generic craft wire. And no, I didn't make Squiggs. He was a gift.
